How to round prices

In this tutorial you will learn how to massively round the cost and sale prices of all the products registered on your Nex.

Important

  • This feature is available from version C476 of Nex, click here to see the tutorial on how to update your Nex.
  • The products that have been written with more decimal places will not be rounded by the program. For example: if the price of a product is set manually with 3 decimal places: 10,256 $, then you apply the rounding tool, that product won’t be affected by the rounding process for that product, you will have to change it manually.

Shall we round up the cost and sale prices of your products in your Nex together?

1. In any Nex menu, click on the PLAN DATA in the upper right corner of Nex.

2. Click on REGIONAL SETTINGS.

3. A window will open with options to edit the country, time format, currency symbol, decimal numbers and thousands and decimal separators. Uncheck the option FOLLOW WINDOWS PARAMETERS.

4. Set the DECIMALS PLACES you want and check the option to round, then check the option ROUND UNIT PRICE OF PRODUCTS.

When changing the number of decimals, both in writing and using the arrows, you will see an option to round the current prices of your products, you can mark it or leave it blank, according to the number of decimals you currently hold on Nex and those you wish to configure.

5. Click on SAVE - F2.

The system program will keep thinking while making the change, it may take a while depending on the number of prices changing. The higher the quantity of products, the longer it will take.

Done! Once the process is finished the window will close by itself and you will have your prices rounded up!
