How to use service fees on Nex

See how to register and add the service fee to your sales through Nex.

What will we learn in this tutorial?

Here you will learn how to register a service fee in your sales, registering the fee as a product and entering it at the time of the transaction, calculating the amount that the customer will pay as a fee according to the products purchased.

Shall we learn how to use the service fee in Nex?

1. Registering the fee:

1.1. On the product registration screen, fill in the name field as a SERVICE FEE.

1.2. Fill in the SALES PRICE field with the percentage of your fee. In this tutorial, we will use a 10% fee as an example, where the price entered should be 0.10.

1.3. Activate the option to ALLOWS FRACTIONATION.

1.4. Uncheck the option to CONTROL STOCK and click on SAVE - F2.

2. Registering the sale:

2.1. On the Sales screen, click on NEW SALE - F3.

2.2. Enter all PRODUCTS that the customer purchased/consumed.

It is important that you first enter all products that the customer purchased first, so that you will have the total purchase value without the service fee.

2.3. After adding all products to the sale, select the SERVICE FEE product.

2.4. In the QUANTITY field, enter the TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE SALE (without the fee).

This way, Nex will calculate the total sale value x 0.10 - service fee previously registered.

2.5. Click on SEND to add the service fee to the sale.

2.6. Fill in the other information you deem necessary and click on SAVE (F2).

2.7. Enter the PAYMENT METHOD and click on F2 FINISH.

Done! Now you can control your services using Nex.
