How to generate the sales by taxes report

With this tutorial you will learn how to generate the sales report by taxes through the Statistics menu.

  • Nex generates a report for a specific period, chosen by the user. The system uses the opening and closing date of the till to include the transactions made in the report. Therefore, it is recommended to open and close the cash register daily (more information).

What is the sales by taxes report for?

With the sales by taxes report, you can analyze all transactions made with products that have taxes configured in the selected period, separated by customer and product.

Shell we generate a sales by taxes report?

1. Access the STATISTICS menu located in the left sidebar menu of your program.

2. Select the SALES BY TAXES report.

3. Click on the DATE to choose the PERIOD of the query.

4. Click to select the TYPE of the query, whether it will be by TRANSACTION DATE or by REGISTER DATE.

5. Click the ARROW icon to EXPAND ALL RECORDS and check the details of each customer sales.

6. If you wish, click on the THREE DOTS to PRINT or EXPORT the results. A file is generated in Excel format.

Among the information provided by the report are:

Sale: Transaction number.

Product Code: Code of the product involved in the sale.

Product: Product Description

Price: Sales price of the product.

Quantity: Quantity of products sold.

Discount: If any discount was made, this column shows the total discounted

Amount: Total paid for products.

%Tax: Tax percentage, which can be a rate added to the value of the product or included in it.

Tax: Total value of the tax applied to the product

Total: Total paid for the product.
