How to withdraw money from the register

  • To perform this procedure, you must have an open register with money available to be withdrawn. See here how to open the register.
  • Withdrawing money from the register usually serves to make adjustments to the current cash flow. To record bill payments or expenses, you must use the Accounts Payable feature.

Let's learn how to withdraw an amount from the register?

1. Access the Register screen.

2. On the Current register tab, click on Withdraw amount.

3. Enter the Withdrawal Amount in the desired Payment method.

4. If you wish, click on Add note to enter a note for this transaction.

5. Click on Save.

Done! The amount has been withdrawn from your current register, recording a transaction. This value will be accounted for when closing the cash register. To learn how to generate the withdrawal report, click here.
