How to total the register and view information for a specific customer

See how to total previous registers by period and view transactions for a specific customer.

  • This feature is available using the Premium plan of Nex. Click here and check out all our subscription plans. 
  • The totalization of previous registers uses the register opening date for inclusion in the totalization process being performed, meaning it does not use the date of the transactions made within that specific register session. Nex reports, in general, work this way. For this reason, it is recommended to open and close the register daily, allowing for better utilization of the reports.

Let's learn how to total the register and view a customer's information?

1. Access the Register screen.

2. Access the Previous registers tab and then click on Total Period.

3. Enter the desired period and then click on Total.

4. Click on More details next to Movements.

5. In the top right corner, click on the three dots icon (...) and then click on Group by columns.

6. Click and drag the Customer column to the Drag a column header to filter... strip (gray strip).

By dragging the Customers column, Nex will group the transactions of the reported period by customer.

7. Double-click on the desired customer to view the transactions.
