How to add money to register (supply)

See how to add money to your register whenever you need it. This amount can be used for change, payments or other purposes. These register supplies are registered in your current register.

Important:

  • This tutorial uses the register in the new layout. Click here to see the tutorial on how to add cash to register with the old layout.
  • This feature is only available to Nex subscribers. Learn more about our subscription plans.
  • The new register layout is available from version C481 onwards. Click here to download the latest version of Nex.
  • It is recommended that you open and close the register daily. Nex uses opening and closing information to generate reports, allowing greater control of your business.
  • To carry out this procedure, you must have an open register. See here how to open the register.

Shall we learn how to add value to the cashier?

1. Access the REGISTER screen, on the left side menu.

2. On the Current Register tab, click on ADD MONEY.

3. Enter the AMOUNT that will be added to your register.

This amount will be accounted for at cash closing.

4. If necessary, add a COMMENT for this operation.

5. Click on SAVE-F2.

Done! Money has been added to your register by recording a transaction within your current open register.
