What is a shipment transaction?

Shipping is a transaction used to record the shipment of merchandise from your store with a specific function, which will return to your inventory after performing that function. In the case of shipment for repair or shipment for demonstration, for example, the product will leave your stock for a period of time and then return to the store, enabling the sale of this product in the future.

Check the shipment operations that can be carried out on Nex:

Shipment for repair: this procedure records the departure of goods, allowing them to be transported to the company that will carry out the repair. Nex also allows you to return this shipment to your stock, making it possible to sell the product after repair. See here how practical it is to carry out this procedure.

Shipment for demonstration: this operation allows you to send products to a specific location, for display at a fair, for example. It is important to remember that this feature does not allow the product to be sold during this demonstration. Nex also allows you to return this shipment to your stock, making it possible to sell the product after the demonstration. See here how to perform this operation.
